Terms of Use

These terms are between you and the operator of Easy写作 / EasyEdit identified below. Read them before using account/cloud services or purchasing membership. You may decline and use local features that do not need an account or network. 中文版.

Services and account security

EasyEdit provides writing, book management, import/export, statistics and optional account, cloud synchronization, backups, online resources, WebDAV, scanning, AI assistance, community and membership features. Availability and free/paid scope are described in the app. Maintenance, connectivity or third-party failures may temporarily interrupt online services.

Provide lawful, valid account information and protect your account, password, codes and devices. Do not impersonate others, transfer or rent accounts, attack the service or bypass security controls. Report suspected compromise to support. Account deletion removes the account and associated deletable data after verification and is generally irreversible.

Your writing and public participation

You retain your rights in content you create or lawfully provide. You authorize the storage, transmission and technical processing needed for the features you choose, for the relevant service period. Do not infringe intellectual-property, privacy or other rights. Public rooms and chat require acceptance of the community rules; reports may lead to proportionate content removal or community restrictions, with support available to challenge a decision.

Backups and AI assistance

Keep independent copies of important writing. Synchronization conflicts, mistaken edits, devices or third-party WebDAV failures can affect your files. You choose and manage any third-party WebDAV provider.

AI correction, polishing and writing assistance may be inaccurate or unsuitable for a particular use. Review output before adopting or publishing it. Requests send the chosen text/instructions and necessary context to our service and DeepSeek or MiniMax. The Privacy Policy explains input/output records and deletion. AI is optional and does not replace your responsibility for the final work.

Membership and purchases

Review the product, entitlement, duration, currency and price before confirming payment. Current membership products are one-time purchases and do not renew automatically. Google Play builds sell fixed-duration membership through Google Play Billing; iOS uses App Store and other Android channels use the method shown before purchase. Store prices are localized.

Existing permanent membership remains valid. Accounts with a qualifying successful payment before 2026-10-17 00:00 UTC+8 retain their previous cumulative-payment qualification for permanent membership. Accounts first paying on or after that time buy fixed-duration membership and do not acquire permanent membership through cumulative spending. Eligibility and entitlements are determined by verified server records; historical purchases are not rewritten. For eligible legacy accounts, any Google Play contribution is based on the product's stated internal entitlement mapping, not addition of different local-currency amounts.

If membership does not appear, sign in to the account used for purchase and restore/refresh purchases. Contact support with the order reference if needed. Refunds, revocations and disputes follow applicable law, fulfilment and payment-channel rules and may change the associated entitlements. Google Play refund help is available. Do not disclose passwords or full payment/purchase credentials.

Privacy, minors and service changes

The Privacy Policy explains data use and rights. Guardian consent/guidance must be obtained where required for minors. We communicate material service or terms changes and obtain renewed agreement where required. For purchased, unfulfilled entitlements affected by a service change, we provide continued fulfilment, an alternative or appropriate handling under applicable law.

Responsibility and disputes

Liability is determined by fault and applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without removing mandatory protections that apply to consumers in their location. Contact support first to resolve a dispute; otherwise it may be brought before a court with lawful jurisdiction.
